We are working in Local & Regional Monitoring Institute (www.localmonitoring.eu) for several years in measuring competitiveness and local performance. Now increasing intervention of central government, the era of “New Socialism” can take superfluous our efforts.
In a couple of weeks I have to follow a report on measuring local competitiveness. My fear is that is one of the most important issues: what a local community has to put in its flag and how it can achieve. Do we need goal to achieve them in community or in individuals and families have really feasible goals?
